“From seed to shoot...shoot to small plant”
Its great to report a growing level of interest in Gospel4Grampian from listeners, partner organisations, churches and individual supporters.
In the last 4 months, the station has accrued over 11,000 listening hours from 6,500 listeners in over 120 countries around the world. These figures are very heartening for
they tell us there is an appreciative listenership.
Our core objective is to reach listeners located in the communities of North Scotland with the Gospel. We aim Enrich Lives and to do so through terrestrial digital or fm radio, as well as
broadcasting on line.
Our output is largely music with programmes designed to give a glimpse of how Gospel4Grampian will operate in the future.
We want to carry Christ's love into communities and have communities make programmes for communities, live outside broadcasts.
What have we been doing? The last fewmonths can be summarised as a period of slow yet steady and sustained growth. Gospel4Grampian is slowly expanding beyond the bounds of our studio through the provision of a portable computer. This has proved a real boon in recent weeks and has allowed, remote access to the studio based computer syste so allowing pre recorded programmes and interviews to be put on air.
A number of live outside broadcasts and prerecorded programmes have also been produced. Expansion of our work needs both committed time, effort, finance and prayer. In this respect, in late April/May, Gospel4Grampian became a registered charity SC040454 allowing us the flexibility to start a membership, raise much needed funds to enable us to cover our costs.
Recently, two presentations have been made to 2 of our supporting churches at Kemnay and Kings Community Church to promote our work and recruit new members. In recent weeks, links have been made with Jesus House Church in Aberdeen where we have been asked to give a presentation at 2 Services. Two weeks later sees an opportunity to speak at Buckie Baptist Church.
Thank you for your interest in Gospel4Grampian.
